6 Easy steps to paint a wall:

- To get an even or smooth paint finish, vacuum the walls to remove all the dust or use a cheese cloth (malmal) / coconut brush.
- Apply premier to seal the surface of drywall with the help of a roller. ‘Jotun Acrylic Emulsion’ primer is specifically designed for newly installed walls. Primer also provides adhesion to top coat paint and increases its coverage. Hence, less paint is used. This sealer will provide the perfect finish at the end.
4. Then, wall putty (wall filler) is applied before painting. It gives a uniform finish to walls. A thorough sanding (regmall) regime is applied to make the surface smooth and plain like a ‘mirror’.
5. Start to apply the paint on the walls. To work along edges, choose brushes with tapered bristles. It is recommended to use a paint roller, as it makes work easy, saves times gives a beautiful finish. If you want a professional and flawless finish, you must apply at least two coats of paints on the walls.
6. Let it dry completely. Apply additional coats as per requirement or desired finish.
